Barbara Treadway

Barbara A. Treadway, age 81, went to be with her Lord on November 13, 2017. She was born May 6, 1936 in Brunswick, MD to the late Raymond and Dorothy Myers.

Barbara graduated in 1954 from Eastern High School. In 1956, she married Joseph Treadway who preceded her in death in 2004. Barbara is survived by her loving daughter Bobbie Jo Richardson and her husband Will Richardson of Pasadena, MD ; brothers from Huntington, WV - Douglas Myers and Gary Myers. Barbara will be missed by many, but especially by her wonderful friends Mary Ellen, Dot, Shirley, and Nancy. The one who will miss her most is her constant canine companion Bear.

Barbara taught Sunday School at Brooklyn United Methodist Church and later became a faithful member of Community UMC in Pasadena. Barbara has lovingly made quilts for Linus Project since 1997. She loved to watch British comedies and mysteries.. She was also an avid reader. Barbara gave elaborate tea parties and enjoyed going to tea houses. She loved music – everything from Pavarotti to Alison Krauss to Casting Crowns.

Relatives and friends are invited to call at the family owned and operated MCCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road PASADENA on Friday 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. Mrs. Treadway will lie-in-state on Saturday in the Community United Methodist Church 8680 Ft. Smallwood Road PASADENA  from 10:30 until 11 AM at which time funeral services will be held. Interment Cedar Hill Cemetery.
