Robert Daniel Vereen, Sr. PFC is a decorated U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War (1955-1961); he was a Minister of Church and a devoted member of the Steamfitters local 486 for 50 years. Robert Daniel Vereen, Sr. was preceded in death by his loving wife Laura C. Vereen of 38 years and daughter Theresa M. Mills. He is survived by daughters Mary T. Ivins of Baltimore, MD, Marquita L. Brown of Greenville SC. Deborah D. Scheerer of Jupiter FL, Laura C. Vereen of Jupiter, FL, son Robert D. Vereen, Jr. of Baltimore, MD, 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Robert Daniel Vereen, Sr. had many accomplishments in his life, he completed his training in the ministry and was ordained as a Minister of the Church of Devine Revelation, he was the Associate Minister to the Reverend Alfred Holt and throughout his life performed many marriages and baptisms in the State of Maryland. Robert not only taught but lived the word of the Lord. Added to his many accomplishments Robert D. Vereen, Sr. was a devoted member of the Steamfitters Local 486 for 50 years. Throughout his 50 year career as a journeyman with the Local 486 he led, taught and instructed many young men to become devoted journeymen. He resided in Jupiter FL for the past 3 years (formally of Pasadena) with his Daughter Deborah Scheerer; he enjoyed hunting, gardening and spending time with his family. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the family owned and operated MCCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road PASADENA. on Thursday and Friday 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. Where Funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10 AM. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
