Albert “Fred” Gordon Frederick, 76, of Pasadena, Maryland, passed away 4/8/24.
He was born 10/27/47 and grew up an only child to the late Albert “Gus” and Cecelia Frederick, in Ellicott City, Maryland.
As a young man, he worked as a sheet metal worker for Westinghouse in the 70’s and decades later retired as an inspector from Northrop Grumman.
He loved hunting, fishing, crabbing, and he was an avid gardener. Over the years he enjoyed hosting crab parties throughout the summer for friends and family and chartering fishing trips with Captain Dave.
He is survived by his loving wife, Rita Frederick, of 45 years and his three daughters, Judy Simpson, Janice Price, and Jacqueline Clifford, sons in law, Rick Simpson, Chris Price, and Randy Clifford, his grand children Susan, Richard, Joseph, Daniel, Abraham, Lily, Naomi, and Marrion, and great grandchildren, Cameron, Jack and Aubrey. He was loved by his brother in law Richard Guy and his granddaughter in law Kelly Simpson. He is sorely missed by Woody, his loving cat.
Friends and family are invited to attend the Memorial Gathering and Memorial Service in honor of Albert Gordon Frederick. The services will be held at the family owned and operated McCully Polyniak and Collins Funeral Home, P.A. located at 3204 Mountain Rd, Pasadena, MD 21122 on April 21, 2023. The Memorial Gathering will begin at 12:00 PM followed by the Memorial Service at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation toSunday, April 21, 2024
