Albert Steen

Albert "Al" Steen age 79  passed away on Dec 2, 2021 after a 5 year battle with kidney cancer. He was born on October 30, 1942 in the suburbs of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He was a 40 year resident of Pasadena. Devoted husband to Joy " Linda" Steen. They were married for 54 years. Beloved father of Cynthia Steen Wescott and Brent W Steen also of Pasadena. Loving grandfather to Macy Steen, Alec Wescott, Lauren Wescott, Chase Wescott, Luke Steen, Noah Steen and Chloe Steen. He was preceded in death by his father William " Bud" Steen and Ruth R. Steen. He graduated from California State College in Pennsylvania and earned his Masters at Towson State University. He was a Social Studies teacher at Marley Jr. High/ Middle for 43 years. He loved the Orioles, Ravens and Terps and was an avid reader of suspense and crime thrillers. He enjoyed cruising and taking trips to Las Vegas. He was a true "foodie" and also enjoyed cooking for his family. Besides his family, he had love for his many dogs through the years especially his Jack Russell " Mia" who passed away this last year.

Family and friends are invited to call at the family owned and operated McCully-Polyniak Funeral Home, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road Pasadena, Maryland 21122 on Thursday December 9, 2021 from 3-5 & 7-9 PM. Where a funeral service will be held on Friday December 10, 2021 at 11 AM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
