Alice Arlauskas

February 4, 1928 — June 13, 2014

Alice Buchma Arlauskas, 86, a beautiful and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away on June 13, 2014 surrounded by her adoring family. She was born on February 4, 1928, the daughter to John and Frances Buchma, in Scranton, PA and a sister to seven siblings. She is survived by Joseph, her loving husband of 63 years, and her loving children: Joseph (Becky), Diane (Rob), Michael (Robin) and Lisa (Steve); seven grandchildren: Tyler, Nicholas, Alexandra, John Michael, Mary, Seth and Ava and great-grandson, Tristan, and her two surviving brothers Joe and Andy Buchma.She is preceded in death by her three sisters: Annie Battle, Helen Dellojoio, Kate Brega, and her two brothers: Paul and John Buchma.
Alice had a love for sports. She was an avid basketball player in high school, enjoyed league bowling and playing tennis. Besides being passionate about her family and friends, her other passions included sewing, cooking, music, singing, and dancing. She was a member of St. Phillip Neri Church since it's opening and served the community as an active member of the Linthicum Women's Club. She led a very full and active life which she loved dearly.
Alice was a beautiful woman. She was vibrant and full of life with an infectious laugh. She always put family in front of everything. She loved and feared the Lord and He welcomed her to heaven with open arms. She was dearly loved and will be deeply missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the family owned and operated MCCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road PASADENA on Sunday, June 22,2014 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. A funeral Mass will be held in the St. Philip Neri Church 6405 S. Orchard Road (Linthicum) on Monday, June 23, 2014 at 11 AM. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
