Life Legacy

Allen R. Summers (Roger), 68, passed away early Sunday morning, October 28, 2012 at BWMC in Glen Burnie, MD following a lengthy battle with pneumonia and various other illnesses. Roger, as he was known to his family and friends, is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Bonnie, three devoted children Mark (wife Gayle), Tammy Adams and Wendy Lee (husband Jonathan); 6 beautiful grandchildren: Andrew, Julie and Garrett Summers, Samantha Adams and Ashlyn and Jon-Michael Lee as well as two brothers, Sidney and Milton Summers. Roger was preceded in death by his father, Clyde, his mother Ruth and his brother Donald.
Roger was born in Baltimore on June 6, 1944 and remained a native of the Baltimore area with residences in Brooklyn, Glen Burnie and Pasadena until 1998 when he and Bonnie moved to Queenstown where he remained until his death.
The family will receive friends at the family owned and operated MCCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road, PASADENA on Thursday, November 1, 2012 from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm to pay their respects. A brief memorial service will follow at the funeral home on Friday, November 2, 2012 at 11 am. There will be no graveside service.
