Betty Nolan

October 7, 1928 — March 4, 2022

Pasadena

Betty Jane Nolan (Warnick), passed away peacefully in her home on March 4, 2022, at the age of 93. She was the loving wife of George Nolan for 55 years. Betty was born in Midland, Md on October 7th, 1928, to Mother Beulah Jeffries Warnick and Father Frank Warnick, both deceased. She was the youngest of nine children.

She is survived by her Husband George, Son David Nolan and his wife Wendy. Mimi, as she was known, will be dearly missed by her Grandchildren, Tyler and Danielle Nolan.

Betty grew up in the mountains of Western Maryland but moved to Baltimore where she met George Nolan. They were married and moved to Pasadena in 1975 and have been in the same home since. She retired after 37 years at Carr Lowery Glass Company in Baltimore. They have been members of Our Lady of the Chesapeake Catholic Church since it was founded in the Bodkin Auditorium.

She came from the mountains, but she loved the water, especially family vacations to Ocean City. She loved time on the beach or the boat, where she especially enjoyed fishing for flounder. She loved seafood, like steamed crabs and fresh rockfish, which she caught herself on the family boat.

Family was very important to Betty. She made many great memories with her Western Maryland family, the Jeffries and the Starks. But no role was more important to her than being Mimi to Tyler and Danielle, and their friends. Even when her son, David was young, all off the neighborhood kids were always welcomed in for a snack!

We will remember her for many things, her home cooking and baking from scratch, the way she always gave to others, the way she loved to laugh, and how humble she was. She was very important to us. It is hard to say goodbye.

Loving Wife, Mom, Miss Betty, and Mimi, you will truly be missed.

We Love You!
