Betty Walker

Betty Jane Carr Walker of Pasadena, Maryland.
Born April 5, 1931 to Zolan and Daisy Carr of Gaither Maryland, Betty was one of seven children. Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Chester W. Walker Sr.
Beloved Mother of Norma and Pat Feeley and Libby and Chester Walker Jr. Loving Grandmother to Matthew Walker. Beloved cousin of Nancy and Tom Moxley.
Betty worked her entire career as a nurse with special needs children at Angel’s Haven in Glen Burnie. Here, she achieved some of her proudest accomplishments including successfully helping children walk. After retiring from Angels Haven, she became an aide on Anne Arundel County School Buses, again working with special needs children.
Betty enjoyed crocheting and knitting, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Betty will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Donations to the American Alzheimer’s Association would be a wonderful tribute to Mrs Betty Walker.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 AM at St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church 8499 Virginia Avenue Riviera Beach, Maryland 21122. Interment Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
