Beverly Olivia Haney

Beverly Olivia Haney, beloved wife of 60 years to the late Robert L. Haney Sr., died peacefully in the arms of family on July 30th, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Carrie Rice and her firstborn daughter Beverly. Family was the world to Beverly and she found great joy in spending time with them. An adoring mother to her children Robert Haney Jr. and Linda, Scott Haney and his wife Susan, Stephen Haney and his wife Charlene, and Stacey Beres and her husband Rodney. A proud grandmother to Robert Haney III, Rebecca Haney, Andrew Beres, Daniel Haney, Stephen Haney, Tony Beres, Brandon Haney, Adam Beres, Malayna Haney, Savannah Haney and Joshua Haney. Loving Great-Grandmother to Colby Haney, Taylor Haney, Harper Beres, and Jaxtyn Beres and doting Great-Great Grandmother to Brooklyn, Addison, and Eleanor.

In her younger years she and her husband were avid boaters and campers and enjoyed vacationing with friends and family on their boat or in their RV. After her husband’s retirement from A & P Grocery Store, they went on to open successful grocery stores in Anne Arundel County. From 1972-2005 they operated Haney’s Grocery and Deli in Hanover. Beverly was a friend to everyone and enjoyed spending time with those closest to her. She was a resident of Brightview Senior Living where she was a Social Ambassador and loved by all. Above all she cherished her family and spent her days surrounded by them.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the family owned and operated MCCULLY POLYNIAK & COLLINS FUNERAL HOME, P. A. 3204 Mountain Road Pasadena on Thursday, August 1st, 3-5 & 7-9 PM. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 2nd at 1 PM at the Arundel Christian Church, 710 Aquahart Rd, Glen Burnie, MD 21061 with a reception at the church immediately following. Interment will be private.
