Bonnie Lynn Shubert

Bonnie Lynn (Gore) Shubert, devoted wife to Vance Shubert of nearly 42 years, mother, grandmother and great- grandmother, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on January 21, 2025 at the age of 65.

Born in Baltimore, Maryland on June 12 ,1959 to the late Clarence E Gore Sr and Glorian J Gore, Bonnie will be remembered for her beautiful smile and warm personality. She dedicated her life to her family, always there with a warm embrace and a big heart. Bonnie worked for Anne Arundel Co Public Schools as a cafeteria manager for 10 years prior to retiring in 2020.

She loved her three children, Brian Gore (Rebecca Gore), Kevin Shubert Sr. (Courtney Jester) and Michelle Shubert (John Smith) immensely, for they were her pride and joy, along with her grandchildren, Brian Seymer, Sommer Alton, Brent Gore, Kevin Shubert Jr, Wesley Shubert and Aurora Smith. In addition, Bonnie was blessed with two great-grandson’s Clyde Seymer and Levi Alton. Bonnie is survived by her loving sister Joy Wills and brother Clarence (Butch) Gore Jr.

Bonnie was a member of Grace & Truth Church in Linthicum, Maryland where she attended with most of her extended family. She loved hummingbirds, dolphins and giraffes along with taking Caribbean vacations with her family. Her giddy personality along with her laughter could fill a room. Bonnie was an animal lover, and adored her Golden Retriever, Hercules.

Visitation will be held at Grace & Truth Church located at 601A Hammonds Ferry Rd. Linthicum, Maryland on Monday January 27, 2025 from 11AM until 12 Noon. A service will begin at 12 Noon. Interment to follow at Glen Haven Memorial Park Glen Burnie, Maryland. 

Bonnie’s family would prefer that instead of sending flowers, a donation to her church, Grace and Truth in her honor.
