Bailey, Carrie Nell, beloved wife of the late Harvey E. Bailey, devoted mother of Carole Devine of Norfolk, VA, Ruth Alexander and her husband William of Lancaster, SC, Barbara D. Zimmer and her husband Philip of Pasadena, MD and the late Iris Parker, dear sister of the late Gracie Powell, Bessie Carlson, William and John Powell, loving grandmother of Michael Dalgliesh, Joseph Demott, Gregory DeMott, Allison Bielby, Ralph DeMott, Leslie AuCoin, Anthony Maniscarco, Kenneth DeMott, Angie Jones, Jason Maniscarco, Dominic Maniscarco, Jordan Baney and Aaron Baney,Laura Schroyer, Sarah Nester and Philip R. Zimmer, loving great-grandmother of Scott AuCoin, Hayley Jones, Cody Jones, Ryan AuCoin, Adam AuCoin, Isabel Jones, Cadence Maniscarco, Greenlee Jones, Kya Maniscarco, Laken Maniscarco, Valerie Baney, Quinn DeMott, Anthony Maniscarco, Jr., Giovanni Maniscarco and Cameron Baney, Brett Schroyer, Lacey Schroyer and Margaret Nester. Dear aunt of Betty Barber, Darlene Powell and Karen Carlson, John Powell and Bert Carlson.

Mrs. Bailey was born on May 4, 1920 in Avon, Virginia to Willie Lewis and Pauline Henrietta Powell. She died at her Pasadena residence on December 21, 2014 at the age of 94. Carrie was a wiring technician for Lockheed Martin and a member of the Glen Burnie Baptist Church. In her life Carrie has lived in Virginia, Germany, Washington DC, North Carolina and Maryland. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, singing hymns, reading, playing solitaire, "Up Words' and gin rummy and helping others.

Relatives and friends are invited to call at the family owned and operated MCCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road PASADENA on Friday 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. Mrs. Bailey will lie-in-state in the Glen Burnie Baptist Church 7524 Old Stage Road Glen Burnie, MD on Saturday from 10:30 to 11:00 AM at which time funeral services will be held. Interment at a later date. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Partners-in-Care 90 B Ritchie Highway, Pasadena, Maryland 21122.
