Cathrine Ann Johnson

Cathrine Ann (Mill) Johnson, born January 31st, 1935, of St. Louis, MO. passed away Sunday, February 2nd 2025. Peacefully in her sleep, shortly after her 90th birthday.

She attended college in the early 50’s and met the love of her life. William (Bill) Johnson. In 1956 they married and started a family. She was a dedicated and loving wife, mother and homemaker. She was also an accomplished artist, winning awards for her oil paintings. Later in life she became a successful Real estate agent. In the 80’s, having an empty nest prompted a long list of travel destinations all over the world. Cruising was their favorite way to travel, including their children and grands on occasion.

 Cathrine (Cam) was preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, William C. Johnson; brother Dr. William B. Mill; sister Margaret (Peggy) Mill and Daughter in law Lynn Johnson.

 Cathrine is survived by her brother, Milton E. Mill and his wife Cheryl Mill; her son, Mark S. Johnson and his wife Peggy E. Johnson; her daughter, Cindy L. Casey and her husband John M. Casey. Cathrine was also a loving Grandmother to Jesse P. Johnson, Heather M. Fuller and Zackary A. Casey. She was also blessed with three great grands, Saoirse and Deaglan Fuller and Amelia Casey. 

 A Celebration of Life will be held sometime in the spring at Brookfield UMC in Upper Marlboro. Interment will be private.
