CHARLES A. BAGUET, age 90 of Camden-Wyoming, DE, passed away peacefully with his daughter at his side, on Tuesday, February 24, 2015. He was born December 10, 1924 in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Clarence and Margaret (Ruffing) Baguet. On January 17, 1947 he married Zora "Ruth" Gaines who died on June 6, 1974. He is survived by his daughter Martha (husband James) Chapman, his grandson David Chapman, his sister Mary Friday, his brother Walter Baguet and many nieces and nephews. Charles retired from the US Navy, July 21, 1964 after proudly serving in the Pacific Theater during World War II, and completed service in the European theater, multiple sea duty tours and stateside tours and received a number of awards, commendations and medals. He was strong in his faith and love of his family, especially his sister and brother, and held a deep sense of service to his country. He loved playing cards, especially the family game of 66, and visits to the Moose. Friends will be received on Monday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at MAURICE L. KNEE, LTD. FUNERAL HOME, 7663 Saltsburg Rd. (across from S & T Bank) Plum, PA 15239. A Blessing Service and interment with military funeral honors will follow at Calvary Cemetery, 718 Hazelwood Ave., Pittsburgh 15217.
