Charles Ebbert "Ebb" Bosworth 92, of Pasadena, MD passed away peacefully at the Baltimore-Washington Medical Center on June 29, 2010.
Ebb Bosworth was born October 11, 1917 in Elkins West Virginia, a son of the late Carroll Luster Bosworth and Mary Marks Bosworth.
He was married for 61 years to his beloved wife Margaret Wamsley Bosworth who preceded him in death in April 2003.
Also surviving are a son, David Ebbert "Ebbie" Bosworth and daughter-in-law Julia of Pasadena, MD and a daughter Deborah Jayne "Debbie" Bosworth of Centerbrook, CT one sister Nina Thompson of Panama City Fla, 4 grandchildren Irene and Jim Coomes of Crofton, MD, Kim and Newton Ebbert Bosworth and Elizabeth Bosworth of Pasadena, MD and Hannah Bosworth of Los Angeles CA, 3 great-grandchildren Isabella Coomes, Dominic Edward Bosworth and Charlie Ebbert Bosworth.
He was preceded in death by 5 brothers, Newton Bosworth, "Bud" Bosworth, Richard "Dick" Bosworth, Owen "Shike" Bosworth and Bernard "Brownie" Bosworth, 2 sisters Dorothy Sloan and Pauline Pritt.
He served in the Army from April 1945 to June 1946 at Camp in Japan. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the U.S.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Harundale Presbyterian Church 1020 East Way Glen Burnie, MD on Friday from 12:00 to 1:00 PM at which time funeral services will be held. Interment private. Contributions may be made to the Infant and Toddlers program 1450 Furnace Avenue Glen Burnie, Maryland 21060 ATTN: Linda Watts.
