Charles M. Crowley Sr. passed away due to congestive heart failure on August 4th, 2016. He was born October 2, 1943 in Baltimore, MD to Catherine E. Rafferty and Frederick C. Crowley. Charles eloped and married his sweetheart, Georgia M. Crowley, on January 19, 1963 in Ellicott City, MD. Charles worked for STA/ILA Local 953 for thirty-some years before retiring to his home in Ocean City, Md. He was a member of the VFW Post 6694 in Dundalk; the Elks Lodge #2645 in Ocean City; Sons of the American Legion Post 277 in Pasadena; and the Loyal Order of Moose in Delaware. He loved to spend time with his family and friends and his family and friends loved to spend time with him. His favorite spot was on the front porch of his home in Montego Bay in Ocean City. Charles is survived by his children Charles M. Crowley Jr.; Christine M. Hartman and spouse Ron; Deborah M. Boone and spouse Isaiah, as well as his seven grandchildren Stephanie Dugan and spouse Ryan; Ronnie Hartman; Amber Crowley; Candice Crowley; Chase Boone; Caitlynn Crowley; Brennan Boone and his great-grandchild Liam Dugan. Charles is also survived by his sister Celeste Crowley; brothers Fred Crowley and wife Tippy; Tom Crowley; and Jerry Crowley Sr. Charles is now reunited in Heaven with his beloved wife Georgia, sister Pat Staley, and sister-in-law’s Georgette and Margaret Crowley.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the family owned and operated MCCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road on Friday, August 5, 2016 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. Where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10 AM. Cremation services to follow.
