Biography

DeVincent, Charles Anthony, SFC, USA, RET., Born Augsut 1, 1938, Baltimore, Maryland, Died April 11, 2013, Winter Garden, Florida. Beloved husband of Diane Elizabeth DeVincent nee Scheerer. Devoted son of the late John J. and Dorothy E. nee Stewart DeVincent. Special 'Uncle" to Bernie, Laurie, David, Nicholas, Katie, Austin and Hannah. Also survived by many cousins and friends.
Chuck retired from the U.S. Army after 26.5 years as a Traffic Management Coordinator for the 97th ARCOM at Ft. George G. Meade, Charles retired from the U.A. Post Office as a mail handler at BWI Airport. Chuck worked 7 years at Walt Disney World as a character costumer and trainer at Disney's Hollywood Studio. Chuck was a member of the Riviera Beach Volunteer Fire Department for 10 years. Chuck was also a member of the East Anne Arundel Lions Club where he served as its President in 1991 and 1992.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the family owned and operated MCCULLU-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road PASADENA on Friday April, 19 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. Where funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 10 AM. Interment Cedar Hill Cemetery. Family request no flowers. Please donate to the charity of your choice in Chuck's name.
