Hammerbacker, Charles "CONRAD", Jr. beloved husband of Beverly J. Hammerbacker (Nee Martin) devoted father of Amanda L. Smith and her husband Scott of Glen Burnie and Jamie R. Hammerbacker of Glen Burnie, dear step-father of Rebecca J. Evans and her husband Robert of Pasadena, Bartley P. Connors and his wife Christine of Glen Burnie, dear brother of Mary (Sue) Erby-Kelly and her husband Joe of Pasadena, John Hammerbacker and his wife Julia of Pennsylvania, Darryl Hammerbacker and his wife Robin of Dundalk. Also survived by 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren and his beloved buddies Gizmo and Barney.
Mr. Hammerbacker a Glen Burnie resident for 30 years was born in Maryland on August 19, 1940 to Charles C and Mary Hammerbacker and died in the Baltimore-Washington Medical Center on March 30, 2014. He was a Quality Inspector for the Kopflex company for 51 years before retiring in 2011. He was a member of the American Legion Post 40, VFW Bayside Beach and the AMVETS Post 2 Rehoboth Beach and enjoyed fishing.
