Commander Suresh Ahluwalia

AHLUWALIA , Cdr Suresh Chandra (I.N. Retd)
On November 21, 2017 Cdr Suresh Chandra Ahluwalia (I.N. Retd), of Federal Hill, Baltimore, MD.  Formerly of New Delhi, India. He held the rank of Commander in the Indian Navy and Master Mariner in the Merchant Marine.  Indian Navy 3rd course Joint Services Wing – 1953, at Dartmouth, U.K. and Master Merchant Naval ship - 1976 onwards. He was preceded in death by his wife Dr. Patricia Joy Ahluwalia (nee Thomman) MD, his brothers Dr. Manmohan  Ahluwalia, Ph.D and Vijay Ahluwalia as well as his parents Ladli Prasad Ahluwalia and Bhagwan Devi.  He is survived by his eldest brother Maj. Gen Jagdish Chandra Ahluwalia (Indian Army, Retd); 2 sons and their wives, Sunil Chandra Ahluwalia and his wife Dr. Madhu Ahluwalia, Ph.D and Capt. Nikhil Chandra Ahluwalia and his wife Sonali Ahluwalia and granddaughter, Tara Ahluwalia.
Cremation will occur on Thursday 23rd at Atlantic Crematorium, Glen Burnie. Chautha  Prayers will be held at the Hindu Temple, 10001 Riggs Road, Adelphi, on Sunday 26th November from 10-12am.
