Halley, David Andrew, Jr. and Anna Catherine Halley beloved parents of David Halley, III of Millersville, Steven Halley, Sr. of Millersville, Joseph Halley, Sr. of Pasadena and the late Daniel Halley. Mr. Halley is preceded in death by his sister Mary Ellen Antlitz, and his brothers Jack, Rodney and Harry Halley; Mrs. Halley is survived by her brother John Walsh, Jr. of Florida and the late Theresa Chiveral. Loving grandparents of David Halley, IV, Brandon Halley, Steven Halley, Jr. all of Glen Burnie, Joseph Halley, Jr. of Pasadena, and Jeremy Halley of Glen Burnie, loving great-grandparents of Sierra and Jackson Halley, both of Glen Burnie.
Mr. Halley, a Millersville resident was born on March 20, 1932 to David and Evelyn Halley and died in the Baltimore-Washington Medical Center on April 20, 2013. He was a manager for 33 years for the Maryland State Highway Administration. He was a Mason and a Deputy Sheriff for Anne Arundel County. He was the Chairman of the Blood Donor Committee for Mystic Circle Lodge # 109, and was Worshipful Master in 1972. He enjoyed retirement in Florida, playing poker with family and friends and his cats.
Mrs. Halley, a Millersville resident was born on February 19, 1938 to John and Viola Walsh and died in the Baltimore-Washington Medical Center on April 27, 2013. She worked for the State of Maryland at the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Toll Facility. She was a member of the ladies auxiliary of the Masons who enjoyed spending time at the beach and with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading and loved eating steamed crabs.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the family owned and operated MCCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road PASADENA on Friday from 12:00 to 4:00 PM at which time a memorial service will be held. Interment at a later date in Crownsville Veterans Cemetery.
