Delores, a beloved mother, sister, wife, friend and grandmother, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. She was a beacon of love and kindness, touching the lives of everyone she met.
Delores was adored by her husband, Bruce. They spent a lifetime together, first meeting at the tender age of twelve. They were wed in their early twenties and would have been celebrating their 59th wedding anniversary September 18th. She was a devoted mother to her two children, Kellie and Denise, always putting their needs and happiness above her own. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her immediate family. She was a cherished sister to Patricia Paolucci, Chuck Willis and the late Franklin Hively. Her friends know her as a loyal confidante always ready with a listening ear and help if needed.
As a grandmother, Delores’s joy knew no bounds. She delighted in spending time with her four grandchildren, Kala, Lauren, Drew and Alexandra. Together they created memories that will be treasured forever. Her legacy of love, compassion, and strength will continue to inspire all who knew her.
Delores was the epitome of prim and proper. She was always self-conscious of her appearance, both physical and dress wise, and she received many compliments on her beauty and clothing selections. Her good looks and personality resulted in her doing some modeling for several of the local clothing stores at the time. Delores’s life was a testament to the power of love and family. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those who loved her.
