Dolores Anello

d. March 5, 2012

Dolores "Dee" Anello, 79, a 53-year resident of Pasadena, died on her birthday at home from dementia.

Born March 5, 1933, Mrs. Anello was the youngest child of ten born to the late Wilfred and Mira Veira. She was the widow of Vincent J. Anello. Surviving are three children, Toni Anello-Borowy of Arnold, Josephine Anello of Glen Burnie and Mario V. Anello of Pasadena; one sister, Barbara Malpass of Baltimore; five grandchildren, Brett and Brooke-Ashley Borowy, Tiffany Anello- Bautista, and Anthony and Carly Anello; and one great-grandson, Vincent Bautista.

Mrs. Anello spent several years working at Fort Holabird in Baltimore, where she met some of her lifelong friends. In later years she worked in the purchasing department of the U.S. Naval Academy and began her retirement in September of 2003.

Her greatest pleasure came from sharing her Chesapeake lifestyle with her entire family at her Magothy River waterfront home. Dee always enjoyed entertaining family & friends. On Wednesday nights you would be sure to find her on the front porch enjoying the Magothy River Sailboat Races.

There will be a private memorial service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lake Shore Volunteer Fire Department, 4498 Mountain Road Pasadena, MD 21122.
