Donna Marie Davis

Donna Davis was born on May 1, 1970, in (Baltimore, MD). We lost her suddenly and unexpectedly on December 24, 2023.

Donna was loved and cherished by her family and friends. As an Optician for 20+ years, Donna enjoyed helping patients to see clearer with the aid of Dr. Gordon (Papa Bear). She loved to play cards, swim, and golf with family and friends. She enjoyed going to the gym and watching her RAVENS. Her favorite thing to do was to lay on the beach and soak up the sun. She was also a relentless and avid shopper.

Donna was an amazing, loving and generous person who was there to support those when needed. She was an exceptional and supportive mother to her son whom she cherished. Her entire world revolved around the love she had for her son, that she called her “miracle child”. She really enjoyed the beach and playing board games with her son. While her heart and soul are gone too soon, she will never be forgotten by those who she cherished and cherished her.

Donna is survived by her loving husband Charles E. Davis, Jr., her son Hunter Francis Hook, sister Tammy & Jack Holtgrefe, sister Jan & Rich Coley, sister/cousin Jeannie Berrios, sister/cousin Connie and Lou Kraft,  sister/friend Jennifer Bimson, Aunt Linda Cline, Aunt Margie & Tom Smith, Aunt Fran and Rick Poch, sister in law Sherrie & Skip Fields, daughter Carlie Davis & Allen Gerling, grandchildren Ashton & Ryleigh Gerling, nieces and nephews Tabatha Voelker, Kyle Voelker, Savannah Holtgrefe, Bobby Delost, Lacey Hechler, Breeanna Berrios, Vincent Colangelo, Madelynn Neal, Nataleigh Neal, Mason Terry, Michael Sauter, Mercedes Sauter, Randy Waddell, Brent Hartzell, Angel Hartzell, Danny Kraft, Joey Kraft, Jessie Smith, Tommy Smith, Ayden Smith, Maddy Smith, Matt & Mamata Poch, Eric Poch, Apollo Poch, Jordan Poch, and many other aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and current/former co-workers who loved her dearly.

Donna was preceded in death by her mother Darlene Allen and nephew Craig (CJ) Kunschman.

Services for Donna will be held at the McCully Polyniak & Collins Funeral Home, P.A. at 3204 Mountain Road Pasadena, MD 21122.  The family will have viewing hours on Wednesday January 3, 2024, from 3pm-5pm and 7pm-9pm. Her funeral will be on Thursday January 4^th at 11am.

Interment services will be held immediately after funeral services have completed at Glen Haven Memorial Park at 7215 Richie Hwy Glen Burnie, MD 21061
