Davenport, Dorothy L. beloved wife of the late Aubrey Davenport, devoted mother of Sandra Ellis and her husband John of Galena, MD, Brenda Weidner and her late husband Harry of Brooklyn Park, MD, Shari Gillespie and her husband Jerry of Lombardee Beach, MD, Audrey Horton and her husband Doug of Pasadena, MD., dear sister of Margaret Davis of Virginia, loving grandmother of Lisa, Krissi, Melanie, Barbara, Kerri, Brandi, Jerry Jr., Doug Jr., Jessica and the late Dennis. Also survived by 18 Great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Mrs. Davenport was born in Virginia on February 26, 1928 and died at her daughter's residence on August 3, 2016. She was a records clerk for the MVA for 15 years before retiring in 2000. She enjoyed watching the Orioles, bowling, singing with her family and playing bingo.
