Burow, Edward Dale, on September 11, 2018, Edward Dale Burow, of Leonardtown, Md., and formerly of the Brooklyn section of Baltimore City. He was born in Beachly, Pa., on May 30, 1921, the son of the late Edward Albert and Ida (Clemence) Burow. He served 2 years with the Civlian Conservation Corps., from 1939 and 1940. He entered the Marine Corp in April of 1942, and was discharged in April of 1946, after serving at Guadacanal and Iwo Jima, where he received 2 Purple Hearts. He then entered the work force with the B & O and C & O Railroads for 42 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia; Brothers: Fred, Carl and Eddie.
Survivors include his son, Steve, Granddaughter, Michelle Person, 2 sisters: June Hawkins and Helen Ryan, and one brother, Bob.
No calling hours will be observed. Graveside services will be held in the Mausoleum Chapel of Cedar Hill Cemetery on Friday, September 14, 2018 at 10 A.M., followed by entombment in his mausoleum crypt.
