Edward Johnson

On 9-3-2016 Edward Johnson, 81, of Glen Burnie, beloved husband of 13 years to Darleen, dear father of Edward W. Johnson (Joann); Jeffrey W. Johnson (Lori), loving step-father of William J. Stankiewicz (Kimberly), Brian P. Stankiewicz (Maria) and Wayne E. Stankiewicz (Peggy).  He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends who all loved him dearly.  Ed received the gift of life from his beautiful granddaughter Jessica Urban who donated her kidney in 2007.  He was preceded in death by his former wife Catherine M. Johnson, his parents Perry and Jerley Johnson, two siblings Curtis Johnson and Wilma J. Parsons.

Ed retired from W. R. Grace in August 1997, was a Ravens Royal Roost Member of Roost #54 of South Baltimore, and a member of the Pascal Senior Center.  Ed loved Country Western music and Western TV shows, especially John Wayne.

Relatives and friends are invited to call at the family owned and operated McCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, PA., 237 E. Patapsco Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland 21225 on Wednesday September 7, 2016 from 3-5 and 7-9 pm. A celebration of Ed’s life will be held Thursday September 8, 2016 at 12 Noon.  Interment Cedar Hill Cemetery, 5829 Ritchie Highway, Baltimore, MD 21225.  If desired, memorial contributions in Ed’s name may be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake, 90 Ritchie Highway, Pasadena, MD  21122.
