Elizabeth Walker

Elizabeth (Libby) Louise (Nee Moore)Walker, aged 65, passed away on Sunday May 1st, 2016 at the Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie Maryland. Libby was born on August 4th 1950, in Baltimore, MD, the daughter of Mary and Arthur Moore. She was the loving wife of Chester Walker Jr with whom she shared 35 years of marriage together. She and Chet were the extremely proud parents of Matthew Walker, her shining pride and joy.

Libby graduated from Southern High School and attended the University of Maryland, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and was a Phi Kappa Phi. Libby worked as an accountant for Monumental life Insurance for 22 years before becoming a real estate agent in 1991.

Libby was a member of the Saint Jane Frances de Chantel church in Pasadena MD and an active volunteer. She enjoyed horseback riding, skiing, reading, crafting, boating and most of all, spending time with her family. She will forever be remembered for her loving heart and generosity. Libby’s life exemplified the words “From those to whom much is given, much is expected”. She used her energy, many talents, generosity, and charity to help all those she met, giving endlessly to family, friends and strangers as well.

Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Chester Walker and her son Matthew Walker; sisters Pat (Mike) Rapp, Mary (Fred) Hauser, Jeannette (Rick) Wall, Rose (Terry) Moore, Norma (Pat) Feeley; brother, Arthur (Jean) Moore; eleven nieces and twelve nephews; 12 great nieces and nephews; two great great nieces; four godchildren James Clark, Derek Moore, Bryce Chittum, Carley Lanosz; three grandfurs Molly, Kaiser and Frisco.

Relatives and friends are invited to call at the family owned and operated McCully-Polyniak Funeral Home P.A. 3204 Mountain Road Pasadena MD 21122) on Friday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday at St. Jane Frances Church at 10 AM. There will be a graveside service at Crestlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Contributions may be made to St. Jude Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 381050-1942.
