Ellen Lamartina

On April 27, 2017 Ellen "Snookie" Marie LaMartina (nee Staiano) 86, passed away. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 66 years Stephen C. LaMartina. Snookie grew up in Baltimore spending 42 years there before moving to Pasadena in 1973. She was a buyer for Farber's Department Store and enjoyed traveling to New York each season to see the latest styles. She had an amazing green thumb and her cooking was out of this world. She leaves behind her children; Elizabeth Hoskins, Steve LaMartina and wife Ellie, Robert LaMartina and Debbie Parlette and husband Ron. An incredible Grandmother to Ellen Siegman and husband Rich, Jenn Tomko and husband Roger, Christin Damron, Donald Damron and wife Tabetha, Joey Parlette and wife Lauren, Keith and Amber Parlette, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great, great granddaughter. She is also survived by her loving sister-in-law Mary Bierley, several nieces, nephews, cousins and her cat Tinker. She was preceded in death by her parents Francisco "Frank" Staiano and Hazel Dittmar (nee Fralix). She was cherished.

Family and friends are invited to call at the family owned and operated McCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road (PASADENA) on Wednesday and Thursday from 3-5 & 7-9 PM. Where a Funeral Mass will be held on Friday at 10 AM at St. Jane Frances de Chantal Church 8499 Virginia Avenue Pasadena, Maryland 21122. Interment New Cathedral Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
