Elsa Lusby

Elsa Crystal Lusby, 85 of Pasadena, MD, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2021 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. Devoted wife of 65 years to Leroy (Lee) Lusby; loving daughter to the late Frederick and Irene Herbe; dear sister to Anna Daubert; beloved mother to Bonnie and her husband JD, Eric and his wife Marybeth, Karl and his wife Tina, Dana and his wife Joyce; cherished grandmother of Megan, Mallory, Zach, Rachel and Evan; loving great-grandmother to Nolan, Gracie, Lucas and Calvin.

Elsa has resided in Pasadena most of her life, graduating from Glen Burnie High School in 1953. She and Lee met in high school and married in September 1955. Like her parents, they settles down in Pasadena but occasionally work did carry them to other states such as Pennsylvania, Indiana and Texas. She worked at Westinghouse in the early years of their marriage but then became a stay at home mother who spent most of her days keeping her four children in-line. She found peace through gardening and her love for animals, lighthouses and beautiful sunsets over the water.

Due to Covid-19, the family held a private visitation and funeral ceremony on January 25, 2021, when Elsa was laid to rest at Glen Haven Memorial Park Cemetery in Glen Burnie Maryland.
