Emerson David Champion went to be with his Lord on August 19, 2017 in Glen Burnie, MD after long brave battle with complications of cancer. Born in Niagara Falls, NY on June 3, 1958. Son of Emerson and Shirley Champion. Emerson is survived by his beloved wife, Ruth Anne whom he married on July 12, 1997. Also survived by son Matthew Krahling, Sister Joyce Banagis (George), Sister Patty Sanderlin, Brother Dean Champion (Lila). Emerson is predeceased by wife Marie Ann Dickinson Champion in September 1995. Emerson attended Wilson Central School in Wilson, NY and served proudly in the United States Marines. Emerson was a founding member of The Fellowship of Christ the Savior Anglican Church where he was the Senior Warden from 2010-2017. He retired from the Maryland Port Administration on March 31, 2017 where he worked as a crane electrician. Emerson was an avid photographer. He also enjoyed reading.
Visiting hours will be Monday August 21st at family owned and operated McCully-Polyniak Funeral Home, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road, PASADENA MD from 3-5 PM and 7-9 PM

There will also be visiting hours at Loomis, Offers and Loomis Funeral Home, 207 Main Street, Hamburg, NY 14075 on Thursday August 24, 4-8 PM Funeral Services TBA.
