On August 22, 2011, ERMA A. BIRKEL, (nee Holt) of South Baltimore, beloved wife of the late Joseph A. Birkel Sr., devoted mother of Joseph A. Birkel Jr., and Theresa C. O'Brocki; loving grandmother of Raymond C. O'Brocki III, Theresa L. Clelland, Jennifer L. Bollinger and great-grandmother of Kathryn M., Ryan J. and Jared L. Clelland, Joseph, Martin and Grace O'Brocki and Madison and Sarah Billinger.
The family will receive friends at the family owned and operated MCCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME P.A., 130 E. Fort Avenue (South Baltimore) on Wednesday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Holy Cross Church on Thursday at 10 AM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
