Ervin "Erv" Lester Wilson of Baltimore, Maryland passed away suddenly on August 16, 2016. He was born December 8, 1933 in North Carolina, son of Julius Doss Wilson, Sr. and Lonie Mae (Bennett) Wilson. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Linda Mary (Marshall) Wilson, 4 children, Jenny Arlene Fain and her husband Lonnie of Westfield, NC, Kenneth Ervin Wilson, Sr. and his wife Tina, Karen Lynn Hughes and her husband Tim, Sheryl Ann Goodrich and her husband Tom, all of Pasadena, MD, 8 grandchildren, Johnny, Wanda, Leigh-Ann, Kenny, Jr., Julie, Darcie, Katelyn and Kamryn, 7 great-grandchildren, Trinity, Tristan, Austin, Skylar, Derek, Sonya and Kane, and 1 great-granddaughter on the way. He was 1 of 13 children and is survived by 2 brothers, Ray and Joe Wilson, and 2 sisters, Lois Throckmorton and Betty Staton, all of NC. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. He grew up in North Carolina and moved to Baltimore when he was in his early 20's. He was a carpenter most of his life and could build and fix anything. He was a hard working man and was always there to lend a helping hand to everyone. He enjoyed doing side jobs, fixing lawn mowers, yard sales, watching the Baltimore Orioles on TV, and spending time with his best friend, John Cook, Sr. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Patapsco Avenue, Brooklyn, MD on Sunday, August 21, 2016, 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM where funeral services will be held on Monday, August 22, 2016 at 11 AM.
