Evelyn Mae Hergenroeder, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on July 17,2024 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. She was born on November 2, 1934 in Maryland to her late parents Edward and Elizabeth Schuhart.
Evelyn dedicated her career to serving as an Office Manager, where her professionalism and dedication left a lasting impact. Beyond her professional pursuits, Evelyn found joy in various hobbies and interests such as playing Bingo, solving Crossword Puzzles, reading books that captivated her imagination. She was also a proud member of the Pasadena Senior Center where she developed lasting friendships.
Family meant everything to Evelyn. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, John W. Hergenroeder and beloved daughter Lizzie. Evelyn is survived by her children: Jack Hergenroeder; (daughter-in-law Angie Hergenroeder); Lori Kelley (son-in-law Larry Kelley), as well as a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren who adored her: Brooke Reeves (and grandson-in-law Andrew Reeves), Caitlin Hines (and grandson-in-law Keith Hines), Heather Irwin (and grandson-in-law Brad Irwin), LJ Taylor; great-grandchildren Penelope Reeves, Lucus Hines, Elizabeth Hines, Owen Hines, Bella Mae Irwin and Emmett Reeves soon to join the family.
The viewing will be held at the family owned and operated McCully Polyniak and Collins Funeral Home, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road Pasadena, Maryland 21122 on July 24th from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and again from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A Funeral Service will take place on July 25th at 11:00 AM followed by burial at Moreland Memorial Park Cemetery in Baltimore at 1:00 PM.
Evelyn Mae Hergenroeder will be remembered for her kindness, warmth, and unwavering love for her family. May she rest in eternal peace knowing she was cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
