Faye Slater

Faye Louise Slater (nee Bahm), 66, passed away from pancreatic cancer on Tuesday, December 30, 2014. She was the beloved wife of Ken Slater Sr.; devoted mother to Ken Slater Jr. (Nikki), and loving grandmother to Avery Louise, Ryan Nicholas and Dylan Joseph.

Born in Baltimore on September 14, 1948, she was the daughter of Dennis D. Bahm and Edna Mae Caldwell. She was a graduate of Baltimore City College High School, married on July 3, 1971, and gave birth to her only child on October 31, 1973. She spent 34 years employed at Progressive Casualty Insurance Company until her retirement in January, 2014. She enjoyed spending time at the beach, reading and traveling. She was inseparable from her husband of 43 years, was a caring and loving mother, and spent every bit of her free time spoiling her three grandchildren. Faye was a kind, caring, compassionate and loyal friend and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Relatives and friends are invited to call at the family owned and operated MCCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road PASADENA on Sunday, January 4, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. Where funeral services will be held on Monday January 5, 2015  at 10:30 AM. Interment Crestlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
