Frances Patricia Wilkinson

Frances O'Hare Wilkinson (Patty) of Pasadena, Maryland passed away peacefully on Thanksgiving, November 28, 2024, at the age of 76. Born on April 29, 1948, she was the cherished daughter of the late Honorables George J. O'Hare and Mary T. O'Hare.

Patty attended St. Jerome's Elementary School and Elizabeth Seton High School before graduating from the University of Maryland with a degree in Special Education. Her unique personality and passion for teaching made a significant impact in the lives of her students and their families.

In addition to her career as an educator, Patty's entrepreneurial spirit shone brightly as she became part owner of European Pine and Imports LLC, a business she started and ran alongside her sisters Ann Payne and Beth Urban, for two decades.

Patty enjoyed the community of friends that she had at Our Lady of the Chesapeake Catholic Church. She was a fixture at Saturday Evening Mass and her beloved First Friday Mass.

Patty was preceded in death by her parents George and Mary O'Hare, her husband Perry O. Wilkinson, Jr, her sister Terry Johnson (Bob) and her nephew Bryan O'Hare. She is survived by her siblings: Jean Reichelt (Charlie), Ann Payne (Charlie), George O'Hare (Ellin), Chris O'Hare (Donna), Beth Urban (Lenny) and Joe O'Hare (Laura), fourteen nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews and special friends she loved talking with on a regular basis.

Patty 's legacy is one of deep faith, compassion, and love. Her life was a testament to the power of "Goodness and Kindness", and she will be deeply missed by all who loved her.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Our Lady of the Chesapeake Church 8325 Ventnor Road Pasadena, Maryland on Friday, December 6, 2024, from 10:30 am to 11:30 am. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 am. Interment Mt. Olive Cemetery 1300 Bladensburg Rd NE Washington DC at 1:45 pm.
