Gary D. Rankin

Gary D. Rankin, beloved husband of Margaret K. Rankin, devoted father of Jason Rankin and Cindy Rankin.

Gary was born in Michigan on August 30, 1943, to his parents Robert and Betty Rankin and passed away on October 19 in the Marley Neck Heath and Rehab.

Gary worked as a printer but when he was younger, he was a very good athlete. He played basketball, football and baseball and was so good he should have turned professional. Gary loved watching the Orioles, Ravens, Terrapins and the Washington Capitol hockey teams play. Gary also loved to play golf, hunt and deep-sea fishing.

Gary also loved to eat, and his favorite thing was a fried seafood platter, and we can’t forget how he loved to go to the casino with Margaret.

But what Gary really loved was his family. He loved and supported his daughter Cindy, and the entire autism cause and Gary also helped and sponsored a yearly Christmas party for needy families.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the family owned and operated MCCULLY POLYNIAK & COLLINS FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road PASADENA on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 pm
