George Frederick Molby Jr., 73, of Pasadena, Md passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at University of MD Shock Trauma with his daughters by his side. George was born in Baltimore, Md to George Sr and Margaret Molby (nee Stewart).
George grew up in Woodlawn and was a graduate of Woodlawn High School, class of 1963. Through a friend he met his beloved wife, Janet Molby (nee Green) who proceeded him in death. Together they had two daughters, Donna Eileen Loudon and Denise Marie Gordon. George's daughter Donna is married to Brian Loudon, they have two children David and Julia. Denise is married to Bruce Gordon, they have two children Michael and Brittany.
George is survived by his sisters Marguerite Ross and Carolyn Fite and her husband Steve. Also surviving are Marguerite's daughters, Robin, Kim, and Heather and their children and Carolyn and Steve's son Jared along with multiple great nieces and nephews.
George worked as a diesel mechanic for Cowan Trucking for many years. He achieved his dream of being a truck driver when he bought his own 'big rig'. He worked for NuCar Carriers for many years, then Schneider Trucking and finished his driving career with Baltimore Tank Lines. During his driving career, he and Janet traveled together often. After retirement he enjoyed traveling with Janet to Hawaii and Europe to visit Donna and her family. George and Janet also traveled to Pennsylvania to visit with Denise and her family enjoying time spent on Lake Ariel. He and Janet also cruised to Alaska and Bermuda. George was an avid sportsman and enjoyed fishing, crabbing, and hunting. He was also very involved with Stoney Creek Fishing and Hunting Club's archery program. Anyone who knew George was keenly aware of his love for his country. George was a true Patriot and wholeheartedly supported his many family members who serve our country in uniform.
Donna and Denise would very much like to thank Mr. Jesse Howell for being a dear friend to George and Janet over the past 36 years and especially the past 6 years since Janet's death. Mr. Jesse helped George on a daily basis from getting his mail to bringing his garbage cans down to the house to sitting and talking for hours to his dear friend.
Donna and Denise would also like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff and doctors at University of Maryland's Shock Trauma Unit. Specifically Team B and the nurses on the 4th floor. The care and compassion shown to George, Donna, Denise and their families during his month long stay was extraordinary.

Relatives and friends are invited to call at the family owned and operated MCCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road PASADENA on Sunday, November 27, 2016, 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. Where funeral services will be held on Monday at 12 Noon. Interment Loudon park Cemetery.
