Grace Anne Brown (Nee Brunk) went home to heaven at her home on August 13, 2023, surrounded by family. Grace was born in Baltimore and grew up in the Riviera Beach Community where her father was the first Commercial fisherman. Her young life was filled with adventures of crabbing and fishing on Rock Creek; when she met her husband Jack they fell in love and there began their dynasty which is now known as Browntown. Her husband is the owner of Jacks Auto Sales for almost over 60 years. Grace stayed home and raised their seven children, for 21 years living on a boat. Oh, the stories she had to tell, which drove her to her knees, surrendering her life to Jesus.
Most precious to her were her children and grandchildren, then great grandchildren and even great-great grandchildren.
She was the daughter of the late Albert and Josephine Brunk (Henneberger).
Grace was a beautiful singer; she sang at Church and ladies' groups. She enjoyed bible studies. She was a fantastic cook and quite the baker. Sweet rolls on snowy days will always be cherished. She especially enjoyed holidays and family gatherings on the waterfront, and of course the big thanksgiving table.
She is survived by her loving husband, Jack of 66 years who was her care giver. Along with her children Terry Karloff and her husband Stan of Stoney Beach, Jeff Brown and his wife Meijia of Pasadena Gina Cook and her husband Frank of Pasadena, Susan Schley and her husband Mark of Ferndale, Joe Brown and his wife Merce of Pasadena, and Jackie Michael and her husband Jeff of Pasadena along with 19 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She is survived by her brother Pete Brunk and his wife Diane Portsmouth, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her son Jeremiah and her sister Jean Ross.
