Sadly, Harry K. Lines Sr. passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family, Saturday, May 31, 2014, 11:35am, at the age of 95.
Born in Conestoga, PA. on July 17th, 1918, son of the late Theodore and Florence Lines, he grew up in Millersville, PA. Graduate of Millersville University.
Loving husband to Albina F. Morton and Ruth Althouse. Harry is survived, by his four Children, their spouses, his seven grandchildren, and two great-grand Children.
He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps for three years – mostly in the South Pacific, during World War II.
He was president of Harry Lines Insurance Agency, Inc., Laurel, MD. for 30 years, retiring in 1979.
Harry was a member of Masonic Organizations: Master Mason Lodge Odenton #209, Odenton, MD; Knights Templer, Hyettsville, MD; 32nd degree Mason, Scottish Rite, Coudersport, PA; Shrine, Boumi Temple, Baltimore, MD; the Lancaster County Shrine Club, and Past Commander of the American Legion, Post 60, Laurel, MD.
Harry was very active, loved life, enjoyed being with his family. A life well lived, and we will always treasure the memories.
Viewing to be held at the family owned and operated McCully-Polyniak Funeral Home, P A. 3204 Mountain Road, PASADENA Tuesday 3rd from 1-4pm and 7-9pm. Where funeral services will be held on June 4th, at 10:30 AM to be followed by internment at Mount Carmel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
