Helen Balcer

On May 14, 2016 Helen Balcer (nee Kuszyk) passed away peacefully at Peartree House Assisted Living which was her home for 6 years. Loving wife of the late Henry C. Balcer; devoted mother of 2 sons, the late Dr. Richard H. Balcer, M.D. and his late wife Mary Anne; and the late Paul R. Balcer; loving mother in law of Janet Balcer and Kathleen Balcer; dear grandmother "DEE" of Pamela Wolff, Joyce Morris, Anne Lambert and Tim Balcer; step grandmother of Colleen Karnicki, Donald Clark, Jr. and Kathleen Burke; special great grandmother of Henry, Mary Ella, Hannah, Meggie, Kassie, Terry and Kevin; cherished sister of the late Genevieve Sandford and the late Mary Matuszak; loving aunt of David Matuszak and Diana Vodicka.

A memorial Mass will be held on June 4, 2016 at 5:00 PM at Our Lady of the Chesapeake Catholic Church 8325 Ventnor Road Pasadena, Maryland 21122. In lieu of flowers Contributions may be sent in the name of Helen Balcer to The Alzheimer's Association 1850 York Road Suite D Timonium, Maryland 21093 or Hospice of the Chesapeake John & Cathy Belcher Campus Philanthropy Department 90 Ritchie Highway Pasadena, Maryland 21122. Interment private.
