The late Madam Idowu Felicia Olopade was born on November 3, 1959, to the late Pa Hassan Adebayo Olawuwo of Oko moolu Compound Mapo Ibadan, in the Ibadan southwest local government area of Oyo State. The deceased mother madam Ibironke Olayonu Olawuwo, is from the Akondo family of famous olorisha oko In the Ibadan northwest local government area of Oyo State.
Madam Felicia attended Abadina primary school at the University of Ibadan, and she had her secondary school at Adekile Goodwill Grammar School in Ibadan. In her further quest for knowledge, she studied Business Administration at Polytechnic Esa-Oke in Osun State and had some basic training as a career civil servant. She later joined the civil service in 1977 as a telephone operator for the office of the Military Governor in Agodi, Ibadan, Oyo State. She rose through the ranks and became an icon as an accounting officer. She met her husband, the late Pa Rufus Osuolale Olopade, at the general hospital in Osogbo in 1980. She retired as the Principal Executive Officer for the Internal Revenue Service of Osun State after 35 years with the Osun State government of Nigeria on August 12, 2012. She moved to the United States in April 2018 to stay with her son. She worked for LSG SkyChefs in the maintenance department as a facility Staff from February 25, 2019, until she passed on. Madam Felicia is survived by five children and six grandchildren.
