Departed this life, 27 March 2021, Jack Deneen Bagby, aged 86 years, devoted husband of Audrey M. Bagby, nee Schmidt. He was born in Eldorado, Illinois, the son of Paul Duncan Bagby and G. Marie (Arterberry) Bagby.
Jack served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict, stationed at Fort Armstead Battery in Curtis Bay, Maryland, where he met his future wife.
For most of his married life he was a salesman, ending his career employed at Baltimore Concrete Company. He enjoyed fishing, reading novels, collecting paperweights, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Jack Bagby was the father of Mrs. Kimberly R. Lubniewski, of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. The grandfather of Chad David Bagby, of Belgrade, Montana, raised in the home, Michael Jeffrey Lins, of Pasadena, MD., and Mrs. Lindsey Deneen (Mills) Griscom, of North Carolina. He was the great grandfather of three great grandsons, Jason, Travis, and David Bagby, all of Belgrade, Montana. He is also survived by a brother Mark Bagby, and a nephew and niece, Joshua and Jessica Bagby, all of Jacksonville, Florida. A sister, Terrie Petrikin of St. Louis, Missouri, and a cousin, Jane Anderson of Bethalto, Illinois, and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death, by daughter Deneen Leigh Lins, grandson Nicholas Allen Bowling, and a sister, Mrs. Mary Mallios of Illinois.
Jack D. Bagby was buried in the Griffith Family Burial Ground in Severn, Anne Arundel County. Graveside services by Chaplain Wayne, were held on Tuesday, March 30.
