Jack Lee Dukes, 85 of Pasadena, Md passed away on June 30, 2023.
He was born on September 29, 1937, to Enoch J. Dukes and Mary E. Dukes in Glen Burnie, Md. Jack graduated from Glen Burnie High School in 1955.
He became a pipe fitter working for Maryland Drydock until its closing in 1984 and continued working at A. Smith & Sons Shipyard until 2020.
Jack also known fondly as "Uncle Fred" and "Brother-in-law" enjoyed building and fixing anything and everything.
He worked hard and played hard into his 80's with a quick-wit and charm that could bring a smile to anyone.
His love for cars, especially Cadillacs showed by the special care and detail he took with each and every one he owned.
He was preceded in death by his parents Enoch and Mary Dukes and grandson Zachary Dukes. He is survived by his wife of 54 years Doris, son Gary Dukes and his wife Cindy of Stevensville, his daughter Lisa Rose and husband Tom of Chester, his daughter Julie Dukes of Pasadena, and stepson Bill Bieman of Severna Park, and three grandchildren, Amber Dukes, Devon Rose, and Katelyn Rose.
Relatives and friends are welcome to visit at the family owned and operated MCCULLY POLYNIAK & COLLINS FUNERAL HOME, 3204 Mountain RD, Pasadena. Thursday, July 6, 2023, from 3-5 and 7-9 PM. Where funeral services will be held on Friday at 1 pm. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park Cemetery
