James Emory, Sr.

James Mitchell Emory, Sr., 75, passed peacefully on December 6, 2020 at his Linthicum home with his family by his side.

Mitch was born May 16, 1945, in Newport News, Virginia. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Virginia Emory and siblings Roger Emory and Joyce Carr. He is survived by his wife Patricia Hubbard Emory; sons Mitch, Jr. and Jason; brothers Stephen Friedman and Mitch Ross. He is lovingly remembered by grandchildren Matthew Emory and Brittany Douglas as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

Mitch graduated from Glen Burnie High School in 1963. A master carpenter, he worked in the construction industry as a home builder and founded Brandon Contracting. He was an avid boater and fisherman on the Chesapeake Bay and managed Harbor Yacht Brokerage before retiring in 2005.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake (link provided below)
