Biography

Heinz, James Frederick, Sr. 84, passed away at his home in Centreville, MD on August 25, 2012. Mr. Heinz's born in Baltimore to Frances and Frederick Heinz on June 13, 1928. He later lived in Pasadena and Glen Burnie where he owned Heinz Electric, then retiring to Centreville on the Eastern Shore. He served as a Corporal in the U.S. Army, serving in the Korean Conflict, he was the past Master of the Landmark Masonic Lodge and long time member of the American Legion Post 40. He was an avid gardener, enjoyed woodworking, crossword puzzles and occasional fishing.
Mr. Heinz is survived by his wife of 60 years Joan E. Heinz (Nee Luby) and six children, Arleen Kilbourne and her husband Lew of Glen Burnie, Mary Ellen Lambert and her husband Frank of Glen Burnie, James "Rick" Heinz and his wife Michelle of Pasadena, Thomas Heinz of Glen Burnie, David Heinz of Centreville, MD, Anne Eckenrode and her husband Michael of Huntingtown, MD. Dear brother of Charles "Joe" Heinz and his wife Maure of Pasadena, Estelle McCauley of Annapolis, Anna Hawkins of Pasadena, Vera Hood and her husband Raymond of Glen Burnie and Mary Jane Leibno of Pasadena. Dear brother-in-law of Kathy Heinz of Pasadena Mr. Heinz is also survived by seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends. He is preceeded in death by his brother George Heinz.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the family owned and operated MCCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road PASADENA on Tuesday from 7-9 PM and Wednesday 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. Where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10 AM. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Flowers are appreciated, but the family prefers contribution to the Leukemia Society of Maryland or the Chester River Hospice 6602 Church Hill Road, Chestertown, Maryland 21620.
