On April 25th, 2014 James Nolan Smith, beloved husband of Melissa Smith and devoted father of Bethany Paige Smith; son of the late Diannna Bivian Curtian and the late James Gilbert Smith; dear son-in-law of John and Patty West; loving brother of Susie Wellman, Leo Spires and girlfriend Debbie Grigsby, and Debra McMullen and husband Jack; dear nephew to Dee Disney; dear uncle to Ralph Smith and wife Stephanie and son Hunter, Heather Roach, Jessica Wellman, Michelle Meek and children Jordan, Nathan, Connor, and Makeila, and Melissa Spires and daughter Fantasia.
Jim loved to watch his daughter play softball, shoot pool, have cookouts and loved spending time by a bonfire with family and friends. He was an avid cook and thoroughly enjoyed cooking to feed and entertain his family and friends. He was a spirited soul that loved to make everyone laugh and smile.
