Jeffrey Robert Grim passed away on June 21, 2021, surrounded by family and friends, after a brief battle with an aggressive form of lung cancer at the age of 57.
Jeffrey was born October 17, 1963, in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Robert H. Grim, Jr. and Esther Melba Grim (nee Thuman). He grew up in Glen Burnie, attending Archbishop Spaulding before moving to Pasadena, Maryland where he lived with his adoring wife Annie.
Jeffrey had a successful career as a Master Electrician for over 30 years, mentoring many in the field including his grandson, Travis. He had a true talent for building and could fix anything. A dedicated family man, he loved spending time together and never missed helping with a science fair project with his children or grandchildren.
Jeffrey was reliable and hardworking, but he also enjoyed the fun in life. He could often be seen on his boat cruising behind his home on the Magothy River. Jeffrey loved boating, fishing, and visiting the Florida Keys to soak up the sun. He had a good nature and quick wit, with a sweet smile that warmed the heart of all who knew him.
Not many get the chance to know true love, but Jeffrey was lucky to be married to his soul mate, Annie, for 37 years. Together they built a beautiful life full of family, laughter, and love. He had a zest for life, a great sense of humor, and a generous heart that those who knew him will deeply miss.
Left to cherish Jeffrey’s memory are many beloved family and friends. Those closest to Jeffrey were especially privileged to have had him in our lives. Jeffrey is survived by his beloved wife Annie (nee Porter); his children Sue Ann, Jaclyn, and Lonny Kelly; siblings Gerianne Helen, Timothy Joseph (Vicky), Michael Robert (Heidi), Robert Gerard (Michelle); grandchildren Travis, Annie Grace, Thaddeus, Login, Korbin and Jacob; and nieces and nephews Ashley, Steven, Samantha, Jena, Michael, and Eric.
When you think of Jeffrey, celebrate the good memories.
