Jerome Harvey, Jr

Jerome Emmanuel William Harvey Jr. (Jerry) beloved husband to Kelly D. Harvey, father to Luke G. Harvey and stepfather to Anthony C. Auvil succumbed to his two and a half year battle with cancer on March 19, 2017. He was 43 years old. Jerry was born to Jerome E. Harvey and the late Patricia M. Harvey on December 31, 1973 in Baltimore MD. Beloved brother to Virginia (Ginny) L. Hobbs, Bonnie M. Bricker, Patricia (Trish) E. Futty and Ann L. Kurland.

After working at BG's car wash, comic book warehouse and Gram security; he settled into his career as an eyeglass lab technician for Lenscrafters and then Pearle Vision.

Jerry had a passion for many things including: hockey, nascar, comic books, fishing, camping, and most importantly building Legos with his son Luke. He loudly cheered on(or cursed) his Washington Capitals while watching every game aired on tv.

Jerry's favorite place to be was at home with his family and dogs. He also enjoyed many dinners with family and friends at his favorite restaurant El Saltos.

Jerry always worried about the well being of others. His exceptional  kindness and thoughtfulness was demonstrated through out his life even during his battle with cancer. His strength and will to live was admired by all that knew him.

The family welcomes you at the family owned and operated  McCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME 3204 Mountain Road,PASADENA MD on Friday March 24th 2017 viewing from 12-2, service at 2, followed by burial at Glen Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Camp Kesem at George Washington University.
