Joan Norris

Joan D. Norris, 76 a resident of Orchard Beach for 55 years passed away peacefully at her home on July 11. 2014. She was born to the late Paul and Rose Zeller.  She graduated from Glen Burnie High School. Joan was devoted to her family and stayed home to babysit children. She was an avid gardener who liked to watch the Baltimore Orioles and Baltimore Ravens. She loved decorating her house for every holiday.  She enjoyed listening to oldies music as well as watching Dancing with the Stars.  She loved cooking and cooked the best food. She also loved taking family trips. Beloved mother of Karen Norris, Donna Woolford, Carol Timlin and Sherry Wagner. Loving grandmother of Russell Woolford Jr, Melanie Woolford, Kenneth Hyde Jr, Stephanie Mc Cullough, Emily Timlin, Sarah Atkinson, Lauren Timlin, Rachel Timlin and seven great grandchildren. Dear sister of Ruth Fowler, Ellen Sellner and the late Leonard Zeller. Visitation will be on Monday 3-5 and 7-9 PM at the family owned and operated MCCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A.  3204 Mountain Road, Pasadena, MD, where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10 AM. Interment following in Glen Haven Memorial Park.
