John Edward “Ed” Filleaux, 82, of Salisbury, passed away on March 24, 2018 after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's. He was born in Baltimore to the late Henry Herbert Filleaux and Margaret Cornell Filleaux. Ed, a skilled carpenter, owned his own hardwood flooring business in the Baltimore area for 39 years before retiring to Salisbury. He loved God, his family, home improvement and landscaping projects, a good western (preferably starring John Wayne), fresh bread with a generous amount of butter and dreaming of tropical destinations while listening to steel-drum music. Ed is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Roberta “Bobbie” Filleaux (Whoolery); his devoted daughter Deborah Cartee; his cherished grandchildren and their spouses, William Cartee and his wife Pam, and Angela Ferguson and her husband Dennis. He is also survived by two loving great-grandchildren, John and Sophia Cartee. The family will receive visitors at McCullyPolyniak Funeral Home in Pasadena on Thursday, March 29 from 3-5 and 7-9 PM. Going Home Ceremony will be held at McCully-Polyniak Funeral Home on Friday, March 30 at 11 AM. Interment at Cedar Hill Cemetery immediately following
