John Euel Hudgens was born on January 22, 1938 in Ottumwa, Iowa and died at his residence in Pasadena on March 26, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents Euel and Bessie Hudgens and both of his brother in laws. He is survived by his loving wife Connie Hudgens; daughter Julie Hudgens-Young and husband Steve Young; daughter Donel Trettel and husband Jim; grandchildren Madison Young, Seth Young, Sophie Young, Aimee Trettel, Cara Trettel and Sean Trettel; sister Bonita Clark.
John graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineer and from Johns Hopkins University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. John retired from Northrop Grumman. John's hobbies were antique cars, gardening, fishing, hunting, wood working and spending time with his family.
